i3Works is pleased to announce that it has been contracted to support the delivery of the MoD Cloud Hosting Environment.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Working within the \nApplication Services & DevOps Tower (ASDT), part of the MoD\u2019s \nInformation Systems & Services (ISS) organisation, i3Works and its \ntechnical partners, CACI, will bolster an already strong team with \ncapability in AGILE Delivery, Customer Management, Communications and \ntechnical DevOps expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASDT are one of the first teams in Defence to fully adopt an AGILE \nway of working which will significantly improve development, deployment,\n speed and value within the technical development and Cloud Hosting \nenvironments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The department\u2019s approach to Defence Hosting services was published \nwithin the \u2018Defence Cloud and Hosting Strategy\u2019, the strategy sets a \ndirection towards the use of cloud services for the delivery of Digital \nand Information capabilities. At a defence level, this principally \nsupports the strategic goal of transforming Information Systems & \nServices (ISS) and wider ICT provision from product-based, to a \nservice-based model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brigadier Sara Sharkey, Head of ASDT comments, \u2018the deployment of \nCloud Hosting and related services such as application development \nservices are key enablers in our overarching ambition to provide better \nvalue, rapid development and a more agile, customer-focused way in which\n to develop and deliver our services. i3Works and their partner CACI \nwill be key to the successful delivery of this programme\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
