My personal reflection of a great 2017 at i3Works

At the end of another exciting year in the fast paced P3M consultancy\n world of i3Works I thought I would reflect on some of the many \npositives of 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Working in a small yet rapidly growing progressive company is always \nexciting and varied; this year I\u2019ve had the privilege to be involved in \nmany areas of business development including strategy and vision \nsetting, shaping client and partner relationships as well as building a \nteam of fantastic new consultants who have joined our ever expanding \nfamily. We are looking at a new recruitment drive in 2018 so watch this \nspace\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Personally I have enjoyed growing my own experience around bid \nwriting to win new opportunities in a wider array of industries; i3Works\n are now utilising many of the government frameworks to provide P3M \nservices into central government departments, health, local authorities \nand rail to name a few. Our company footprint has expanded in our \nexisting client base including defence and aviation and we are also \nworking with private companies who are looking for the level of \nexpertise that we can provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
12 months ago if someone had asked me what I knew about being agile I\n probably would have thought they were asking about stretch routines \nahead of a race. Now I find myself working with clients who are looking \nto bring agile project management into their organisation; this can be \nparticularly challenging in heavily regulated industries that require \ndetailed project plans and a weight of evidence to release project \nfunding. Yet the principles of agile (satisfy the customer through early\n and continuous delivery) mean that finding that sweet spot between \ndemonstrating confidence in what you are doing whilst delivering quality\n for clients in earlier, smaller iterations has never been more \nimportant.
\nAs the balance between agile and waterfall delivery becomes ever more \nrequired by clients, i3Works can provide experienced consultants to help\n and I look forward to 2018 where we can expand on this further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
