Requirements:
- Significant involvement in the delivery and control of programmes / projects is essential for all roles however for senior roles a leadership background is necessary.
- Ideally the applicant should have relevant PM Qualifications (PRINCE2, APMP/APMQ, PP&C). For senior roles a degree or equivalent in years of experience is essential.
- Lead by example, is skilled at influencing at all levels building strong and trusting relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Promote being different and respect diversity, breaking down silos and territorial behaviour to promote collaborative working and strategic partnerships to develop mutually acceptable solutions.
- Able to develop deep insights into the strategic context of the organisation you sponsor a culture which supports innovation and continuous improvement, fostering a culture of curiosity which facilitates new lines of thinking, original insights, and breakthrough business ideas.
- Driven to deliver, rapidly analysing tangible and intangible information to obtain critical insight, inform decisions, provide direction, in order to create and seize opportunities.
- Current UK MoD security clearance is necessary, DV is highly desirable.
- Ex Military: We strongly encourage applications from Service Leavers.
- Location: Typically hybrid working, but able to work in the Bristol area (eg Corsham, Abbey Wood) some days each week when necessary.

£Negotiable: The Delivery (i3Core) Director is accountable for the running of our core capabilities across the organisation to enable the delivery of our company in support of the company sectors and to enable a cohesive working environment across the services and providing direction of travel for the company.

Role Summary
As a Senior User Researcher, your core purpose will be to help investigate user behaviour for public and private sector clients, while working on internal digital projects. You will plan, design, and carry out research activities with users that help teams develop a deep understanding of the people who use those digital services and products. You will be collaborating on projects with Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, Developers, other User Researchers, and stakeholders both internally and externally.
As a Senior User Researcher, you will lead, advocate and manage your profession. You’ll be responsible for managing a growing User Research Team. You will be required to participate in commercial exercises which include bid writing and response evaluation – on your profession.
You will use strong interpersonal skills to consult with colleagues and stakeholders, including more senior managers, to solve issues. You will be expected to make decisions relating to the most effective business modelling required in the circumstances.

Lead user research and/or service design projects in Agile and GDS

Experience in leading research for services or products at different stages of the Product Lifecycle (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live) or equivalent.

Able to design an effective research approach whilst considering project constraints.

Able to identify and use appropriate techniques to effectively communicate insights (e.g. personas, user journey maps, presentations).

Strong collaborator who has worked in multidisciplinary teams, such as Business Analysts, Content/ Interactions/Product Designers, User Researchers, Product Owners etc.

Good technical understanding of digital service delivery and operations.

Comfortable presenting and leading large working groups as well as conducting 1-2-1 interviews at all levels.

Experience of problem-solving and working with others to deliver at pace.

Experience making decisions within agreed parameters.

Experience working with Agile methodologies and scrum teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

A bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Psychology, Social Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
