Project Summary
i3Works worked in partnership with Hyde Park Solutions to assess and improve planning processes and policies for Highways England. i3Works identified data inputting and quality checks as adding unnecessary complexity, and created a solution to address these bottlenecks.
i3Works integrated Primavera P6 planning and scheduling software into Highways England planning processes and developed an approach for integrating and importing existing data. Alongside this, planning and scheduling teams were trained and upskilled in how to use the new software and processes to enhance planning capabilities and ensure lasting knowledge transfer.
During this engagement, i3Works imported over 70 complex project plans to provide effective visibility of project and programme progress, simplifying data input, and producing planning processes that reflected best practices while being tailored to client needs.
